About the Founder

Harrison Grimm is a serial entrepreneur and avid investor in a variety of areas in both public and private markets. He is a Registered Independent Advisor who holds his Series 65 license while also maintaining his accredited investor status.

He earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business with a specialization in high growth entrepreneurship. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Six Sigma efficiencies and Business Administration.

He continues to sit as Director of Investor Relations for 99 Tartans, a VC Fund managed out of Carnegie Mellon University who has made early round investments in companies such as Boom Supersonic, Fifth Season, and Bloomfield Robotics to name a few.

The genesis for starting The Grimm Group’s financial advisory service is to give everyday people the same tools and strategies to grow their wealth and achieve financial freedom that those in the finance industry have available.

With the amount of information in the markets and the efficiency of modern ETF investing there is simply no need to pay the excessive fees that active managers have been able to charge for decades and provided substantial drag on the total returns of clients.
